Helpful answers

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a licensed removalist?

In NSW, more than 10m² of bonded asbestos, and any amount of friable asbestos, must be removed by a licensed removalist. We hold both Class A and Class B licences.

How do I know if it’s asbestos?

Homes built or renovated before 1990 often contain it in fibro sheeting, eaves, roofs and bathroom walls. Don’t break or drill it. We can inspect and arrange testing.

How much does it cost?

It depends on size, type, access and disposal. We quote in writing after inspecting. See what affects the price.

How long does it take?

Most small residential jobs take a day.

What happens to the asbestos?

It’s wrapped, labelled and taken to a licensed disposal facility.

Do you do commercial work?

Yes, including strata, offices and pre-demolition strip-outs.
